- Green means the letter is correct and in the right spot; yellow means correct letter, wrong spot; gray means not in the word.
- Use what each guess reveals to narrow the next one — every guess has to be a real word.
Tip: Open with a word full of common letters — STARE, CRANE, and ADIEU all cover a lot of ground.
