How to play

Decode the encrypted quote — each cipher letter stands for a different real letter, the same way every time it appears.

Tap a cipher letter, then type or tap the plain letter you think it stands for.
Every instance of that cipher letter updates everywhere in the quote at once.
Some letters are pre-revealed in Easy and Normal modes.
Use the Hint button to reveal a stuck letter (counts toward your hint total).
Toggle ✏ Scratch to pencil letters in without strikes or checking — handy for trying a theory before committing.

Tip: Single-letter words are A or I. Three-letter words ending in the same letter as another short word are usually THE.
